Quick update


I wanna do a quick update as I am looking to put the final touches of this game and have it ready for the Game Jam.  First off, I fixed up some of the ramps and ledges in the game and added in new ramps around the room. This hopefully will make it feel like you are in a stunt show or a makeshift one as if you are playing with your remote car and lunch it off a ramp.   I may put some extra ramps on certain locations on the room to keep it as exciting as possible.  Second, I updated the scoring system with coins worth 1 point and rings worth 2. I thought this would give a bit more ideal on where the player want to go and how to get there.  Of course going through the rings may mean you are going to a higher location. Others are for just stunts.  There are plenty of coins scattered throughout the room so it's a scramble to collect as many coins as possible. Lastly, I found a video that talks about dashing and used it as a turbo boost to give the car an extra boost of speed. This helps out going up ramps and prevents the car from sliding back or pushing the car more faster than normal speed. Of course braking is important in a car game so I'll need to tinker with the brake force physics in the game. 

I'll be working on the audio next and music plus final touches of the game before the submission date is up. So stay tune.
